3oz. package cream cheese, softened
¼ tsp. peppermint extract
3 cups confectioners’ sugar
In a small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese with peppermint extract. Beat in half the
sugar until smooth. Knead in remaining confectioners’ sugar until fully incorporated.
(Add food coloring if desired)
Shape dough into ½ inch ball, roll in granulated sugar, place on a baking sheet and flatten
with a fork. Allow to stand 1 hour to harden. You can place in a candy mold to form
into shapes. Also you can experiment with other flavors of extract! Store in an airtight
container in the fridge.
