1 can (16 oz.) cranberry sauce (or whole berry sauce)
5 baking apples, peeled and sliced (I use more)
1 t. ground cinnamon
1/4 t. ground nutmeg
2 T. + 1 C. all-purpose flour
1 C. packed brown sugar
1 C. quick-cooking oats
1/4 t. salt
1/4 C. margarine, melted
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine cranberry sauce, apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, and 2 T. flour. Spoon into a 13"x9" baking dish.
In another large bowl, combine brown sugar, oats, salt, and remaining 1 C. flour. Stir in melted margarine until well-distributed. Sprinkle evenly over fruit. Bake 35 to 40 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
Makes 12 servings.
(This is what we had for Thanksgiving! Mmmm good)
