1 cup warm water (110degrees to 115degrees )
1 cup boiling water
1 cup shortening
3/4 cup sugar
1 teas. salt
2 eggs, beaten
7 1/2 to 8 cups all purpose flour

Pinch off a piece and form a 2 1/2” ball. Roll into a 5” rope; shape into a knot. Repeat with remaining dough. Place on a greases baking sheet. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 30 min. Bake at 350E for 20 - 25 min. or until golden brown.
Yield 2 1/2 doz.
