Chris's Chili

1 cup onions chopped
1/2 of a green pepper chopped
Sauteeing oil or butter
1 lb ground beef
1 16 oz can diced tomatoes
2 16 oz cans chili beans
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 tsp cayenne
1 TBLS sugar
1 TBLS apple cider vinegar
dash red pepper
1/2 tsp oregano

Saute onions and pepper in oil/butter til tender.  Brown beef and drain.

Puree onions, peppers, tomatoes, and one can of the beans if desired (we do this for our kids who hate chunky veggies).  Throw everything in a stock pot and simmer 30 minutes.  Serve with chopped onions and grated cheese.  Also delish over spaghetti pasta if using the pureed version.
