STRAWBERRY PIE

Crust:
1 1/2 c flour
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 TBLS sugar
1 tsp salt
2 TBLS milk
Mix with spoon or mixer.  Press into a pie pan using the back of a spoon.  Bake at 350* for 20 minutes or til golden brown.  Cool.

Filling:
1 cup sugar
4 TBLS corn starch
dash of salt
1 cup hot water
2 TBLS corn syrup

Mix and bring to a boil until thick.  Stirring constantly.  Add 2 TBLS of strawberry jello and red food coloring if desired.  Cool.
Clean and halve 1 quart strawberries.  Mix berries and filling.  Pour into pie shell.  Chill.
