Whole Wheat Pizza Crust

2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
½ cup whole wheat flour
2 packages (1/4 ounce each) of quick-rise yeast
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup water (120-130 degrees)
3 tablespoons olive oil or veg. oil
In a mixing bowl, combine the first five ingredients. Add water and oil; mix with hands then
turn onto a floured surface, knead until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl; turn
once to grease top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, (about 30 minutes).
Punch dough down. Divide in half; roll each portion into a 12-inch circle. Transfer to
greased 12-in pizza pans. Prick dough with fork. Bake at 400 for 8-10 minutes or until
lightly browned.
Top with pizza sauce, favorite toppings, and mozzarella cheese. Bake for 15 minutes more
or until cheese is melted.
