2 cups sugar
1/2 cup Milk
2 oz. unsweetened baking chocolate
Mix together and slowly boil until Soft Ball (235°)
is reached. A candy thermometer is necessary.
Remove from heat add 1 Tablespoon butter
1 Tablespoon vanilla
Stir to cool until it begins to loose its shine and begins to harden. Quickly spoon into a dish to harden. Slice and Serve.
* My Mom had a chocolate sweet tooth. We used to sit down to a bowl of popcorn and she would produce these lovely pieces of fudge. She was very proud of sharing them with us. I often miss her.
